Heather is originally from Buffalo, New York and started off as a bartender in one of Buffalo’s hotspots, The Shores Waterfront Restaurant and Nightclub. The Shores hosted entertainment 4 nights a week, but for Heather, one night was particularly memorable … Karaoke Night. It only seemed right that the self-professed “Karaoke Queen” partake in the weekly ritual. As Heather belted out Patsy Cline’s “Crazy”, she was approached by a patron that happened to play keys for 5-time Buffalo Music Award’s winning band, the Universal Grille Band. After auditioning for the group, Heather was offered the position of lead singer. The band took her all over the country for three years and finally led her to Las Vegas. But Heather didn’t leave Buffalo empty handed. In 2004, she was nominated for best Female Vocalist in The Buffalo Music Awards
